BURGES Salmon has advised the partners of Kite Consulting, the UK’s leading dairy consultancy, on its acquisition by AB Agri, the Agriculture division of Associated British Foods.
Kite provides business services to the food industry, working with livestock and arable businesses and serving market sectors including farming, the agricultural supply trade, food processors, retailers and public sector organisations. Kite operates alongside a sister company, Advance Sourcing, which has also been acquired by AB Agri.
The acquisition by AB Agri will enable Kite to continue to grow and develop its business, creating additional value for its clients.
The Burges Salmon team advising on the deal was led by Corporate Finance partner Dominic Davis and senior associate Douglas Streatfeild-James.
