SAVILLS, on behalf of the landlord, has secured two new lettings on Buchanan Street in Glasgow to Rituals, a popular cosmetics brand, and Castore, the premium performance sportswear brand well-known for being the Rangers team kit maker, as well as having Sir Andy Murray as one of the investors in the brand.
Rituals will occupy 137 Buchanan Street, which provides 1,383 sq ft at ground floor and 576 sq ft at basement level. This will be Rituals second store in Scotland having opened up within Edinburgh St James earlier in July this year.
Castore will occupy 133 Buchanan Street, which provides a total of 1,444 sq ft across ground floor and basement. This will be Castore’s 2nd store to open in Scotland with the other being within Edinburgh St James. The Glasgow flagship store is aiming to open in September this year.
Stuart Moncur, head of national retail at Savills, comments: “Buchanan Street in Glasgow continues to evolve and attract the best brands and occupiers, with these latest lettings highlighting the continued confidence in bricks & mortar retailing, in the strongest locations. We expect to be able to share more news shortly regarding further new occupiers to Glasgow city centre.” Rituals were advised by HDH and Castore by WhiteCity Group
