BLUEVALE COMMUNITY CLUB in the East End of Glasgow receives a £1,000 grant from Buchanan Galleries through the Landsec Futures Community Grants program. The funding will aid in organising activities and events for disadvantaged groups in the region.
Registered UK Charity, Bluevale Community Club, focuses on improving social cohesion, mental and physical health, and community-based recovery in one of Scotland’s most disadvantaged areas. The grant from Buchanan Galleries will facilitate recreational activities, sports clubs, dance classes, social support groups, and kids clubs at the newly opened Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre in Haghill.
Kathy Murdoch, Centre Manager at Buchanan Galleries, expressed pride in supporting local organisations making a positive impact on individuals’ lives. She noted, “We’re incredibly proud to be able to support local organisations such as Bluevale Community Club, who embody the spirit of community engagement and aim to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in the area.”
