Broker Insights, the leading provider of data insights and market analytics for the insurance industry, has announced a series of senior executive appointments, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, customer success, and market expansion in 2025 and beyond.

Stuart Spink is appointed as Chief Operating Officer. Stuart brings a wealth of industry experience and an extensive network to the role. He was most recently Head of Delegated Underwriting Performance at Lloyd’s, and previously held senior positions at Aviva, including Head of Schemes and DUA Operations. He offers deep expertise in operational leadership, underwriting performance, and strategic broker-insurer relationships.

Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said: “I’m excited to join Broker Insights at such a pivotal time in its journey. The business is reshaping how brokers and insurers connect through data and technology, and I look forward to helping scale its impact across the market.”

Also joining the executive team is Sandy Scott as Head of Data. Sandy brings experience from organisations such as Google, Sainsbury’s Bank, and the BBC, and he will lead the next evolution of Broker Insights’ data strategy, ensuring continued innovation and excellence.

“These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Broker Insights as we continue to scale our business and enhance the value we deliver to customers,” said Peter Scott, Chief Executive Officer of Broker Insights. “We’re fortunate to have an exceptional team in place, and these changes strengthen our ability to drive growth, develop industry-leading products, and maximise the impact of our data-driven solutions.”

The leadership changes also include several internal promotions:

  • Ying Wang has been appointed Chief Product Officer. With a track record of leading product management and go-to-market strategies in areas such as 5G and flagship mobile launches, Ying has worked with leading global companies including BT, EE, and Vodafone, as well as tech giants like Apple and Samsung. Ying will shape the company’s product vision and help deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.
  • Andy Whiteley becomes Director of Commercial Data, leading a newly-formed department focused on developing bespoke data products for customers.
  • Amy Garland has been promoted to Finance Director. She will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic growth and maintaining financial strength.
  • Matthew Callaghan joins the executive team as Head of Technology. With significant platform developments planned for 2025 and beyond, his leadership will be key in delivering the next phase of product innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
