BRIGHTSOLID, the Scottish managed hybrid cloud services company, has appointed Dr Pete Cridland as Head of Cloud Enablement to further accelerate its strategy shift towards providing managed hybrid cloud offerings. This follows Brightsolid’s recent appointment of Jon Gasparini as Chief Technology Officer, who has been tasked with executing the new company strategy and solidifying Brightsolid’s hybrid cloud offering in addition to extending the company’s partnership with AWS.
Pete joins the organisation with nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry across a range of sectors including pharmaceutical and biotechnology; public sector; telecoms; and e-learning and publishing. He most recently worked for Tesco Bank as Senior Technical Manager for Cloud Engineering, where he was accountable for the design and build of their strategic AWS environment.
Pete’s focus will be on working closely with clients to design, build, manage and optimise secure and scalable hybrid cloud environments that will allow them to meet their business goals.
