Doune the Rabbit Hole, one of Scotland’s best loved music festivals, is set to make its return to the UK festival line up next summer.

To mark its triumphant return to the festival circuit, the event has been dubbed Back Doune the Rabbit Hole, with the revival coming under a new and experienced management team appointed to oversee the organisation of the 2025 festival.

The festival is one of the UK’s most cherished events and ran successfully for 10 years on the Cardross Estate, Stirlingshire. After a two-year hiatus, the event will reclaim its rightful place on the UK’s music festival calendar next year.

Back Doune the Rabbit Hole is now in the capable hands of recording and touring artist, Brian Harkin, along with Rock Artist Management, led by the highly experienced music industry professionals Colin Black and Paul Aspey.

Managing bookings for over 70 bands, including Bay City Rollers, Bad Manners, and Big Country, Rock Artist Management is a company run by musicians, for musicians, and currently supplies acts for most of the festivals and venues across the UK.

Strengthening the expertise of the new management line up will be a wider team of music industry leaders who have a combined experience of over 45 years in running festivals. The team has organised over 150 festivals in the last 10 years.

The calibre of Back Doune the Rabbit Hole’s new management team is a testament to the good reputation of the original festival and the high regard in which it was held by audiences before the challenges of 2023 led to its cancellation.

With renewed energy and careful organisation, the festival is set to rise again, with organisers promising an ‘action packed festival adventure’ that will epitomise the unique line up and reignite its success as a much loved and well-attended cultural event.

Brian Harkin said the new team is committed to preserving the essence of the original festival while bringing stability and fresh vision to the new event, “We are absolutely buzzing to announce that Back Doune the Rabbit Hole will be going ahead in Scotland in Summer 2025 under new management.

“As the team appointed to manage this much-loved music festival, we are privileged to be able to bring it back for audiences to enjoy.

“Doune the Rabbit Hole has always been known for its unique atmosphere and diverse lineup, and we are thrilled to be able to uphold its traditions to ensure we produce a festival that is inclusive and family friendly, providing an unforgettable experience for festival goers of all ages.

“With a refreshed vision and a commitment to delivering the best festival experience yet, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back next August to relive the magic with Back Doune the Rabbit Hole.”

Back Doune the Rabbit Hole will run from Friday to Sunday, 1-3 August 2025.
