A renowned Scottish speaker manufacturer has inaugurated its new factory in Glasgow.
Founded in 2017, Fyne Audio is celebrated for its hand-crafted loudspeakers, cherished by music lovers and audiophiles worldwide. Known for its “unrivalled bass reproduction,” the company has launched a new manufacturing facility in Bellshill to meet the “growing demand” for its “world-class” speakers.
The new site covers nearly 50,000 square feet, with over 20,000 square feet dedicated to warehousing, manufacturing, and engineering.
Managing Director Anji Sosna announced plans to hire locally for roles in engineering, manufacturing, and logistics. He stated, “We’re thrilled to unveil our new factory, which represents years of hard work and significant investment.
This expansion allows us to meet global demand and reinforces our position as a leading British hi-fi manufacturer.
“The company also plans to install 400 solar panels to power the site sustainably. The factory features a bespoke demonstration room for visitors to experience Fyne Audio’s products, along with engineering labs, a deep cryogenic treatment chamber, and expanded workstations.Sosna added,
“By centralizing operations in the UK, we’re enhancing efficiency and quality control. We remain committed to pushing the boundaries of loudspeaker technology.”
