SCOTTISH housebuilder Avant Homes has bolstered its senior management team with the appointment of Andrew Gawthorpe to the newly created role of regional director for Scotland.
Andrew originally joined Avant Homes as commercial director in the Yorkshire business in 2018 ahead of taking up the position of Scottish regional director following more than 30 years’ experience in the housebuilding and construction industry.
The role will see Andrew work closely with the wider departmental teams across the Scotland operation, to build upon the already successful running of the region, whilst taking a holistic approach to the business, with involvement across everything from land purchasing to the sale of homes.

Avant Homes is one of the leading residential property developers in the UK. The business employs over 700 people and has five regional offices located in Stirling, Scotland; Sunderland, North East England; Wakefield, Yorkshire; Chesterfield, Derbyshire and Nottingham in the Midlands. Avant Homes’ head office is at Junction 30 of the M1, near Sheffield.
Currently, Avant Homes has 59 developments under construction across its five operating regions stretching from Fife to Warwick.
