ASSET Guardian Solutions Limited (AGSL), a leading software provider specialising in protecting the integrity of industrial control systems, today announced the company has renewed its partnership with Scottish based, mental health charity, SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).

The renewed partnership will see AGSL and SAMH work together to raise awareness of the mental health cause, and the support services offered by the charity throughout Scotland. All year round, AGSL employees organise and take part in fundraising activities for the charity. Just last year, AGSL employee Greg McAllister cycled the length of Great Britain raising over £3000 for SAMH.

Ewan McAllister, Managing Director at AGSL said: “Once again, we are delighted to have SAMH as our charity partner. This is our second year working with the team at SAMH and in our current environment, we feel that the work that they do, and the help they offer to the Scottish people is extremely relevant, important and worthwhile.”

As part of the partnership, SAMH will offer mental health training to all AGSL employees and managers so that positive mental health is recognised throughout the company and beyond.

Robin Holden, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at SAMH, said: “Our mental health and wellbeing is so important, poor mental health can have the most profound impact on our relationships, our work, our wellbeing and quality of life.”

“SAMH wants a kinder, fairer society which provides better support for people with mental health problems. Working in partnership with AGSL, SAMH will achieve this through our response to the coronavirus pandemic and our work in suicide prevention; our programmes working with young people in schools and colleges; our men’s mental health projects; and through our trusted information and support services.”

“We’re very much looking forward to working together with AGSL for a second consecutive year and making a positive contribution to the mental health cause.”
