ARNOLD Clark in Linwood, Glasgow, has handed over the keys to its first OMODA customer, marking the occasion with a handover ceremony attended by Victor Zhang, Executive Vice President at OMODA&JAECOO UK. The event, which will be replicated for all buyers of OMODA and JAECOO models, demonstrates how the new dual-brand is focused on delighting customers at every stage of their ownership journey.

The first vehicle, an OMODA 5finished in Galena Silver, was collected by Gordon, who was joined for the occasion by his granddaughter Lyra.

With more than 60 years of experience, Arnold Clark is one of the largest car dealers in the UK and home to one of the largest OMODA&JAECOO sites in the franchised dealer network. The Linwood dealership serves customers in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.

“Witnessing this first customer handover ceremony was one of the proudest moments of my career,” said Victor Zhang. “The occasion was the culmination of many months of hard work by all the staff at OMODA&JAECOO, including the incredible team at Arnold Clark. It was heartening to see their dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences – this is the most important thing for us, to make our customers feel valued and build lasting relationships.”

OMODA&JAECOO, a subsidiary of Chery International, China’s number one vehicle exporter, recently announced UK pricing and specifications for its two debut models: the petrol-powered OMODA 5 and all-electric OMODA E5 crossover SUVs.

Both OMODA 5 and OMODA E5 models, which are engineered for European roads, have been awarded a five-star EuroNCAP safety rating and come with a seven-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
