Aon, a leading global professional services firm, was named Broker of the Year at the British Claims Awards 2026, recognising its Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and wider UK-based claims team’s excellence and innovative approach to providing broker solutions for clients.

Judges praised Aon for redefining what “good” looks like in claims, by using insight, technology and advocacy to secure better outcomes for clients while supporting business growth.

The awards, held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul’s, celebrate organisations, teams and individuals driving excellence, innovation and outstanding service across the UK claims sector.

Nikki McCulloch head of claims at Aon, said:

“We are incredibly proud to be recognised as Broker of the Year. This award reflects the passion, expertise and dedication of our team. Their commitment to innovation, collaboration and exceptional client service continues to make a real difference, and this recognition is a testament to the impact they have every day.”

Chris Hall, CII claims community board member said:

“It has been a real privilege to chair the judging panel for the British Claims Awards 2026. The volume and standard of entries were truly exceptional, with every submission showcasing remarkable achievement and dedication. All finalists should be immensely proud of their recognition – the quality of this year’s entries made the judging process both highly competitive and genuinely inspiring.”

Over the last two years, Aon’s UK claims service has evolved to combine a relentless focus on better client outcomes with a more consultative, business-aligned approach, using its new Claims Co-Pilot technology, technical expertise, data and strong insurer relationships to advocate on complex claims, mitigate risk and solve wider claims challenges.
