The Glasgow office of professional services firm Aon plc (NYSE: AON), is celebrating after three of its pensions team were announced as finalists in the prestigious Women in Pensions Awards.
In total, 40 Aon colleagues have been shortlisted nationwide.
The Women in Pensions Awards are focused on appreciating the most remarkable achievements of women in the sector as they push to improve the industry for all.
Those shortlisted have been nominated by peers within the sector in recognition of being trailblazers, going above and beyond, or inspiring newcomers.
In Glasgow, Alana Corbett, Alison Murray, and Anisha Gill are shortlisted.
Anisha Gill, Senior Investment Consultant at Aon said: “It’s an honour to have been nominated for these awards alongside so many talented colleagues and women in the industry.
“Recognition for the accomplishments of the diverse and dynamic female talent in the sector is not only a cause for celebration but also ensures we continue to make the industry as open and flexible as possible so that it is a more sustainable industry for all.”
The finalists will now answer a series of questions to support their nomination before the shortlist is revealed.
Winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony in November of this year.
