ALMOND Valley MSP Angela Constance has officially opened the new headquarters of one of West Lothian’s most prominent businesses.
Workflo House on the Shairps Business Park in Livingston is the new 6,800 sq. ft headquarters from which Workflo Solutions, the fast-expanding outsourced managed services company will continue its exponential growth across the UK, specialising in Managed Print, Unified Communications, IT services, Cyber Security and Document Digitisation portfolios.
The new building is a significant upgrade sitting adjacent to Workflo Solutions previous premises on Shairps Business Park which the company outgrew. It has embarked on an £80,000 refurbishment of its new headquarters which will house 20 full-time office-based staff across Finance, Sales Support, Service, IT and Marketing on two floors of office space.
“We are delighted to welcome Angela Constance to open our new headquarters”, said Michael Field, founder and managing director of Workflo Solutions.
“Our new facility expands and enhances our service capability significantly and will enable us to attract and retain highly skilled staff and create new skilled jobs in West Lothian for young people. “The investment in our new headquarters demonstrates the importance of our Livingston origins and we aim to continue our passion for nurturing the very best talent wishing to work with us from these state-of-the-art premises.”
Angela Constance MSP commented,
“It was an honour to be able to visit and unveil a ceremonial plaque at Workflo Solutions’ new headquarters. Michael is a good example of a young entrepreneur and business leader starting a business from scratch back in 2007 and through his endeavours, has developed Workflo Solutions into one of the UK’s market leaders for managed print services.
What’s more encouraging is Livingston remains the beating heart of the UK operation. I wish him and his workforce every success operating out of the new headquarters.”
In addition to its new Livingston headquarters, Workflo Solutions operates out of Accrington, East Lancashire; Glasgow, and Aberdeen, providing its array of services to a large and varied 1000-strong UK national customer base.
