Amey has secured a place on the Government Commercial Agency’s £3.5 billion Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) Framework, expanding its ability to deliver advisory and engineering services across the UK public sector.
The four-year framework will support government departments, public sector organisations and third sector bodies through the delivery of technical consultancy services, including dedicated Environment Agency lots focused on flood risk, environmental services and commercial management.
Through the framework, Amey’s Advisory business will provide a range of multidisciplinary services covering design and advisory, project management, commercial support, technical consultancy, environmental services and engineering.
The appointment will see Amey support the planning, delivery and management of major infrastructure and built environment programmes across the UK.
Amey has secured positions across six service lots, including three as a prime advisory partner covering general infrastructure and built environment, project management and defence.
The award creates a direct route to market for Amey’s defence services and further supports the delivery of nationally significant infrastructure programmes.
The company has also been appointed to all three of the Environment Agency’s Flood Risk and Asset Management (FRAM) lots, covering technical, environmental, commercial and programme management services in partnership with JBA Consulting.
The appointment marks Amey’s first major framework agreement with the Environment Agency and represents a significant expansion into the environmental sector.

The latest framework win highlights Amey’s growing presence in the defence and environmental markets, alongside its expanding portfolio of integrated built environment advisory services.
It follows a series of recent defence contract wins, including Amey’s new airfield ancillary equipment project contract and its Defence Equipment & Support contract on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.
The company said the appointments demonstrate its ability to combine technical, commercial and environmental expertise to help public sector clients address increasingly complex infrastructure, resilience and asset management challenges.
