Amey has extended its strategic partnership with Sustainable Ventures, Europe’s leading climate tech growth partner, in a move aimed at accelerating the rollout of innovative low-carbon solutions across the UK public estate.
The expanded collaboration will see Sustainable Ventures connect Amey with its network of more than 1,000 climate tech innovators, alongside investors, corporates and public sector organisations. The partnership is designed to fast-track the identification, testing and scaling of technologies that address pressing climate challenges.
Acting as a bridge between emerging innovators and the public sector, Amey will provide opportunities to trial new solutions across its extensive managed estate. This includes facilities within Defence, Education, Health, Justice and Nuclear sectors, offering real-world environments for testing and validation.
Technologies that demonstrate measurable value can then be deployed at scale, supporting improvements in energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions and enhancing asset performance. Key areas of focus include smart buildings, retrofit programmes and low-carbon infrastructure.
