THE first-ever Scottish Growth Gathering – Conference and Expo was a 24-hour conference and exhibition which took place at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort on February 26th and 27th

It gave exhibitors and delegates the opportunity to benefit from a condensed networking experience which brought together participants from across the region and beyond.  They were joined by a range of speakers based in or with links to the Highlands who presented a diverse conference programme.

The event was the brainchild of Aberdeen-based Granite PR and reworked the company’s tried and tested Expo formula for a new audience.  Previous Expos have taken place in Dundee, Perth and Aberdeen with the latter having hosted nine Granite Expos in consecutive years.

Granite PR Managing Director Brett Jackson said: “We are indebted to both the local business community and the many participants who travelled significant distances to join us at this event.

Their support ensured that we were able to fulfil our vision of creating a new showcase to celebrate the colourful and diverse business landscape.

“Our aim was that, in one day, delegates would have access to as many people as they would in months of one-to-one meetings making it a very time-efficient way of networking and growing business contacts. In helping to strengthen existing relationships and creating many new ones, we hope that this event will be repeated in 2021.”
