HOMEBUYERS in Aberdeen are being urged to act fast if they want to move into their dream property in time for Christmas, as this marks the final week to reserve in time for the festive period.

Those keen to move in for the holiday season need look no further than Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, with a range of properties available now across six of its Aberdeen city and shire developments.

The five-star housebuilder has a selection of spacious homes and apartments available at Westburn Gardens, Riverside Quarter, Countesswells, Whiteland Coast, Osprey Heights and Hopecroft – which are each ready for people to move in on time for Christmas to celebrate the day at home with loved ones.

But homebuyers are being urged to move quickly, as they have until this Sunday, 21st of November, to reserve a home and move in in time for Christmas.

David Palmer, Managing Director of Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Scotland said: “This Christmas is looking to be extra special with families looking forward to spending time together after being apart last year due to the pandemic.

“But with the festive season fast approaching people perhaps think there isn’t enough time to move into a new home, but I’d like to assure them that the process can be done in just four to six weeks. By reserving now, they could be settled in for the holiday period. But they’ll need to act fast as the deadline to reserve is looming.”

Barratt Developments is offering a number of incentives at selected Barratt and David Wilson Homes, including 5% deposits on new homes and a key worker and armed forces deposit contribution.

David Palmer added: “Christmas can be a very busy and stressful time of year for most people, so we want to assure homebuyers that our friendly sales advisers are on hand to assist people with their move and make sure any stress is taken away.

“Whether you’re a first-time buyer or an existing homeowner you could buy selected new homes with just a 5% deposit with deposit unlock. In addition, we offer a key worker and armed forces deposit contribution of 3% and 5% respectively, at selected apartments and homes.

“Designed to an exacting standard, our properties are in walk-in condition, relieving you of the hassle of decorating and allowing for a smooth transition into your dream home in time for Christmas Day.”

Homes on offer include a range of stylish apartments and homes across Aberdeen, including one and two-bedroom apartments at Westburn Gardens, in the heart of the city centre, and selected two, three and four-bedroom apartments are ready for purchase at Riverside Quarter, a short distance from the Bridge of Don.

Offering lift access and private parking, Westburn Gardens provides a touch of luxury close to sought after city amenities, including both Victoria and Westburn Parks, quality retail and a wide selection of independent shops, pubs and eateries.

Meanwhile, Riverside Quarter is a serene development, perfectly placed between the city and countryside. This vibrant, family-friendly community is located close to riverside and woodland walks and just a 10-minute drive from Aberdeen city centre.

Those looking for a larger home can snap up a three or four-bedroom house at Barratt Homes’ Countesswells development, just four miles from the city centre, at Whiteland Coast, situated on the spectacular coastline of Newtonhill, or at Osprey Heights, in the popular town of Inverurie.

Countesswells is one of Aberdeen’s newest communities. Offering the best of both suburban and urban living, it is just a short journey from city attractions, neighbours a choice of golf courses and country walkways, and will soon benefit from a range of local amenities including shops and a brand-new primary school.

Whiteland Coast in Newtonhill is a great option for those who’d rather have the lifestyle benefits of a coastal setting. Teamed with easy access to the city, this development represents everything today’s buyer wants for their next move and has already proven a hit among first time buyers seeking their own garden space and growing families looking for a more spacious environment.

Surrounded by countryside and stunning views towards Aberdeenshire’s Bennachie hills, Osprey Heights offers a range of three and four-bedroom homes. The development has proven a success with families, meeting the growing demand for property in Aberdeenshire’s thriving towns and villages.

In addition, one five-bedroom home is available at Hopecroft, a development surrounded by countryside, yet close to local amenities, and a stone’s throw from the P&J Live complex and the AWPR for easy commuting in and around the city.
