Abodus Student Living has officially opened the doors to Martha Street Apartments, a new deluxe student accommodation in the heart of Glasgow. The development offers 275 high-specification student rooms and marks a major milestone in this major city centre regeneration project.

Part of the wider £120 million Love Loan regeneration project, the new Martha Street Apartments sit alongside the AC Hotel by Marriott, Flight Club, luxury residences and a mix of food and beverage and office spaces along the recently-completed pedestrianised lane that spans the new neighbourhood.

Developed by the multi-award-winning Scottish property investor and developer Chris Stewart Group (CSG), this exemplar purpose-built student accommodation building offers a choice of en-suite rooms, studios, and one-bedroom apartments as well as offering a limited number of penthouse apartments. Setting a new benchmark for student accommodation, every room benefits from floor-to-ceiling windows flooding interiors with natural light and providing panoramic city views.

In line with future-facing environmental goals, the building is all-electric, making it 100% fossil fuel-free, and boasts excellent energy efficiency, with integrated low-energy air conditioning throughout – this is unique for PBSA. Residents will also benefit from an exceptional range of interior-designed communal amenities, curated to foster community, wellbeing, and academic success.

Joss Muirie (CEO at Abodus Student Living), said: “Martha Street Apartments represents a major step forward in both design and sustainability standards for student living. We’re proud to be part of a development that not only raises the bar for accommodation but contributes meaningfully to the regeneration of Glasgow’s city centre.”

Chris Stewart, CEO of Chris Stewart Group said:

“Martha Street Apartments exemplify our commitment to creating vibrant, future-ready urban spaces. This development not only addresses the pressing demand for high-quality student accommodation in Glasgow, but also sets a new standard in sustainable design and placemaking. We’re proud to see it become a cornerstone of the Love Loan regeneration, bringing together community, innovation, and architectural excellence.”

With demand for high-quality student accommodation continuing to grow in Glasgow, Martha Street Apartments is now accepting bookings for the 2025/26 academic year. For more information or to arrange a viewing, visit: https://abodusstudents.com/accommodation/martha-street-apartments-glasgow/
