GRAHAM + Sibbald, the independent Scottish property specialist, has continued to hire to strengthen its UK-wide credentials in the petroleum and roadside sectors.

Following the hire of Stephanie Walker as Associate Partner, the Petroleum + Roadside team at Graham + Sibbald has further strengthened the team with Cathy Noble being appointed as a Sales Administrator.

Calum Campbell, Graham + Sibbald’s Managing Partner, said: “It’s great to see the team continue to expand, Cathy has a great personality and is extremely client focused ensuring that our clients receive the very best service whether selling, buying or leasing roadside property.”

This latest acquisition follows on from the recruitment of Stephanie Walker. Stephanie joined Graham + Sibbald’s specialist agency team from Cushman and Wakefield where she focused on roadside retail developments including drive-through site acquisitions for a national retailer.

Calum Campbell added: “It’s great to get someone of Stephanie’s calibre on board. Stephanie brings extensive sector experience across the UK at a time when the industry is re-inventing itself. We’re seeing exceptionally buoyant conditions with increasing demand for drive-thru and roadside opportunities, both in terms of outright purchases and leasing arrangements, and some of the highest site prices ever recorded.”

Stephanie Walker, Associate Partner, Graham + Sibbald, said: ‘It is a very exciting time to be part of a sector that is continuously expanding with the UK forecourt sector presenting opportunities for both large oil majors to open new to industry sites throughout the UK whilst smaller independents expand their networks of petrol filling stations. We are also seeing independents taking advantage of the strong market conditions and selling their business when the time is right.”

Walker and Noble join a team of specialist advisers including John Docherty, Head of Specialist Valuation and the firm’s Managing Partner, Calum Campbell, in Graham + Sibbald’s market-leading Petroleum + Roadside team which is experiencing an expansion in activity and a strong pipeline of engagements in 2020.

Graham + Sibbald has over 200 employees and 20 partners working across its 16 UK offices in Scotland and England where the Firm added Manchester to its growing office network South of the border.
